Interesting Article in NYT Magazine
There's an interesting article from Joe Nocera in this week's New York Times magazine about Sheila Bair, the outgoing head of the FDIC. There's been a lot written about the tension between Bair and Hank Paulson and Tim Geithner (President Bush and Obama's Treasury secretaries). Andrew Ross Sorkin mentioned it in his book (Too Big To Fail), but did a pretty bad job of it, mostly because he's a parrot with great sources who can't think critically. This one lets Bair speak. I don't know that I'm fully on board with her take, but it's still an interesting and worthwhile read.
