Intro

So I've never tried this blogging thing.  Mostly I don't think anyone cares what I have to say-- I don't have any special insight about much of anything, and I definitely don't have any grand ambitions for what I'm gonna write.  Mostly, I'm interested in a whole bunch of different things, and I want a place where I can sound off on whatever I feel like without digging to the depths of the internet or sinking to the bottom of a comment page on someone else' blog.

So what am I gonna write about? Whatever I feel like.  I don't have any big ideas that are going to change the world, but I'm interested in pretty much everything.  So one day it'll be basketball.  Another day it'll be the economy.  A third day it'll be European soccer.  Maybe I'll work in law somewhere once I feel like I actually know something about it.

I can't promise that it'll be entertaining.  Occasionally I hope it'll be funny, but I can't promise that either.  I can promise that it won't be filtered.

Now let's see if I can get somewhere with this...
